About Timothy
In 2021 I graduated from West Moreton Anglican College in the Ipswich region with an ATAR of 98.55. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.
I am a current blue card holder and am experienced in working with children of all ages.

In my experience, the biggest flaw with the Queensland Senior program is that a teacher has too much content to get through and too little teaching time to fully explain concepts. This is exasperated by the fact that teachers have 30 students per class and as a result will find it impossible to make sure everyone is following along. With this in mind, my tutoring style revolves around exploring topics in depth with students and explaining not just what to do but why it is being done.
My lessons are typically between an hour and two hours in length and delivered through an online medium of either Teams, Zoom, or Discord, depending on what is best for the student.
I have been tutoring middle school and senior school students for upwards of 2 years at this point. I have studied the QCAA subjects of Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, and Physics, achieving results of 95% and above in grade twelve as well as an ATAR of 98.55.
My lessons are for any students in grade 9 or above, however I prefer students in grade 11 and 12 who are currently enrolled in the subjects mentioned above.
I am a current blue card holder.
