About Shamima

I am an experienced UK educator with 18 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in English and enjoy learning. I also run my own tuition business and have experience designing engaging, personalised learning programmes.

About the lesson

I provide personalised online English lessons for primary-aged children, specialising in reading, comprehension, vocabulary and writing. I use a warm, engaging, structured and tailored approach for each child, helping them strengthen their skills, build confidence and become more independent learners.

My child is a special needs learner, and when we first arrived in this country, he started learning one-on-one with the teacher. She is an exceptionally patient and brilliant teacher. Thanks to her guidance, my son has improved greatly in reading, writing, and mathematics. He is even able to explain things to us in English just the way the teacher taught him. Even though teaching a child with additional needs is much more challenging than teaching typically developing children, she always teaches with boundless patience, love, and genuine goodwill. She is extremely friendly, deeply understanding, and full of heartfelt dedication. We miss her so much, dear teacher!
