Murielle is a very hardworking French tutor who puts all her passion in the language as well as her tutee to achieve outstanding results. My daughter started to take French tuition for her GCSEs with Murielle in the month of January ie just 5 months before her GCSEs in May. She had been Working at Grade 5 in school. She really wanted to achieve higher than this. After googling on for French Tutors, we found Murielle and chose her because of her professional background including being a French Examiner. And we were so glad that we found the right tutor! Murielle made a thorough assessment and found out what my daughter needed to move up. My daughter’s confidence grew as she started her lessons. Murielle found the gaps in her learning and would give her homework and important Grammar notes for reference. Murielle just doesn’t teach, she makes you understand! She would also give feedback to me about my daughter’s progress. My daughter was really happy with Murielle forming a good rapport with her. Murielle always kept her calm and always reminded her of her ‘can do’ attitude. She could also predict what her grades could be at her GCSEs as she saw her work progress specially her Writing and Listening Skills. All her hard work with Murielle really paid off. Murielle has been tutoring my son since September. His school have structured their GCSE options into 1 year intensive programmes and this was a concern to us, having had little French previously in KS3.
My son thoroughly enjoys Murielle's lessons and it has enabled him to ask questions on a 1to1 basis about gaps in knowledge during the week, where he feel he is getting left behind in school. When he started he was barely reaching the Foundation level paper but is now looking at the Higher level paper and being able to access higher GCSE grades.

If you are looking for a native French speaking, highly experienced tutor who is also an examiner then please look no further! There is not enough space on here to say how amazing Murielle is at teaching French at any level. Our son had lessons for a few years leading up to his GCSEs. The improvement in his French was quite remarkable and an added advantage was that, because she is a native speaker, my son was also developing a French accent when he spoke French. To the point that one year, his new teacher at school asked if either of his parents was from France!
Murielle constructs her lessons in such a way that they are not monotonous. They are fun, involve lots of different methods and ways of learning and my son looked forward to learning.
I really cannot recommend Murielle highly enough. My son has now sat his French GCSE and passed with a 9 (A*).
And it’s a language he now has for life.

Murielle is an amazing tutor because of how she lets you go through the lessons in your own time. With plenty of help and tips along the way.
