About Marianne
My main philosophy is that we learn language through play and this applies to adults as much as children! Using games which are fun and focused on building language, I encourage a growth mindset. In short this means to not fear making mistakes, because through making them, we have an opportunity to learn.
I am also a translator and a storyteller, so I blend these aspects into my lessons selecting and adapting materials to your interest and to challenge you on your language learning journey whether you are an absolute beginner, or advanced speaker who could benefit from learning some storytelling techniques.
Having a Master's in Translation and experience translating academic articles means that I can also offer specialist linguistic advice to those requiring help with advanced written skills in English or French.
