About Sandra
I am a Primary School and English teacher in Spain with a Bachelors degree in Education. I also studied a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in UK and worked there as a Secondary School and college Languages teacher for 7 years so I have experience teaching Spanish in UK and teaching English in Spain to students of all ages and levels. In addition, I have been a private tutor in both countries for over 10 years teaching private individuals and groups of all ages and abilities.

I use a variety of methods to suit individuals: games, pictures, videos, songs, interesting readings and creative writing tasks. I base my lessons on comunication and learning vocabulary as I consider Speaking the language as the most important but challenging skill to acquire. Language and culture can't and should not be separated. It's vital learning the cultural side of the language and 8t makes lessons so much more interesting! This is why my resources and activities are authentic, up to date and culturally relevant to inspire students to learn the language and be curious about the culture, making them more motivated to learn it. I have been described by students as a fun teacher and I do consider humour as an important part of learning which is why I always try to make lessons fun and enjoyable.
