About Ali
Hi, I’m Mr. Ali — a Maths teacher with 5 years of classroom experience teaching GCSE and A-Level in an outstanding London school, where I’ve supported students in achieving excellent results year after year. Alongside this, I’ve been tutoring since 2017, helping learners one-to-one and in small groups to build confidence and master the subject.
Maths wasn’t always my strongest subject, but through hard work I excelled — and that journey is what fuels my teaching. After training at King’s College London for my PGCE, I developed proven strategies that make complex ideas more accessible and give students the tools to succeed.
Until now, most of my tutoring has been in person, but I’m now moving online as I begin training for an Ironman triathlon next year — giving me the flexibility to reach and support more students wherever they are.
My approach is clear, encouraging, and tailored: breaking down tricky concepts step by step, preparing students for exam success, and helping them see the bigger picture of what maths can do for them. Whether you’re aiming for top grades, pushing for a strong GCSE pass, or simply wanting to feel more confident in maths, I’ll help you get there.
