Hi there! I'm Katie, a passionate English teacher with a love for making learning fun and engaging. Originally from the UK and now calling Australia home, I bring a unique blend of teaching experience from primary schools to language colleges, along with a background in drama and creative arts that helps make our lessons lively and memorable! Whether you're looking to improve your English for school, work, or everyday life, I specialize in creating personalized learning experiences that match your interests and goals. With my experience teaching students of all ages and abilities, I know that everyone learns differently – and that's what makes tutoring so exciting! I believe in building confidence alongside skills, and you'll often find me incorporating creative activities, drama techniques, and even movement into our lessons when it helps bring language to life. Having taught English as a Second Language at several language colleges, I understand the challenges of language learning and know how to break down complex concepts into manageable, fun learning steps. When I'm not teaching, you can find me practicing yoga, exploring the outdoors, or getting involved in community theater – all experiences that I love to draw from to make our English lessons more engaging and relevant to real life.
