About Elyse
I an musician and performance artist, I have studied music since I was 5 years old and have an Advanced Diploma in music performance. I started giving lessons over 10 years ago and am very passionate about teaching music to anyone who is interested as I believe it to be an extremely important outlet.

I have always been in love with music but have not always enjoyed music lessons as a child due to pressures of personal world colliding with the regimental teaching styles. I believe in and practice a positive reinforcement teaching method that focuses on the student and their own relationship to music. I don't believe music should be something that is a chore or a pressure to succeed at a particular rate. Every student moves at their own pace and I believe that the quickest way to become disciplined and determined is to feel the positivity that playing music brings to the musician.
