About Sandhya
I am an ARB accredited and qualified Architect. For 2 years, I was a Teaching Assistant at the Manchester School of Architecture. This sparked a passion in me to continue teaching, tutoring and mentoring. Today, I am a "Women in Architecture" Mentor for their 2025 cohort. I have achieved first class/distinctions for all my degrees: Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree and my Post-graduate Diploma in Professional Practice. My awards: -Simpson Haugh Modelmaking Award (selected by Simpson Haugh) -Venice Biennale Fellowship (selected by the British Council) -Bennets Prize for outstanding Part 3 coursework (by the University of Greenwich) I have over 4 years of professional experience and have worked in both large and small practices.

I want to help you reach your full potential, whether this is by giving you design tutorials, showing you how to use different software or by proofreading essays/ RIBA Part 3 submissions/ University applications. I am also extremely passionate about giving you career advice and mentoring (I currently mentor professionally for the organisation "Women in Architecture"). I like to begin my classes by asking you what your goals are. We will discuss what areas you would like to grow and expand your experience in. I tailor each lesson to each individual - this also means that feedback will be tailored to you and how you like to learn. I strongly disagree with gate-keeping the profession and am here to chat about how to make you a stronger Architect /Architectural Designer and how you can achieve better grades, better job offers and better opportunities. Topics we can cover: Studio design for University courses, RIBA Part 3 coursework/exam tips, Advice on applying to Universities, Advice on applying for jobs, Understanding the RIBA Plan of Work. Software: Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation, Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator I am happy to work with people of any age, gender and identity.
