Different students shine under different teaching approaches. When I prepare course content, I imagine which teaching style would help my students learn the material best. My lectures are structured, but I adjust the flow & come up with the right activities to keep my students engaged. I go beyond lectures, showing presentations, images, films & experiments. I encourage students to come up with problem solving strategies, ask questions & then simulate what they've just learned. I teach Accounting and Business Studies to Gr. 8 - 12, in English and Afrikaans, online, face-to-face, and groups.
