About Matt
I am a session guitarist that has toured internationally (Last tour was 2 months in America with an 80's band called CLOVENHOOF). The majority of session work has been with Rock and Metal music but my degree was primarily focused around Jazz.
I have worked on film scores (The latest being a punjabi film called Mahi NRI which was recently put on Netflix).
I have previously worked for Yamaha Music Schools, as a peripatetic (visiting) guitar tutor for local education authorities as well as lecturing in colleges.
I have experience in teaching primary, secondary (including GCSE), college (including A level music and BTEC) and first year of degree (BMus).
I am also in the process of writing online courses to be sold online.

My teaching method is entirely based on the needs and wants of the individual.
I prefer students to create their own end goals and this allows me to plan a series of smaller goals that leads to the final result.
