About Alannah
I am a qualified teacher in both NSW and VIC. I received a BEd (K/P-12) in 2018, and have worked as both a teacher and a tutor in English since. I have tutored at VCE level (2019) in VIC, and taught up to year 12 in NSW.
I have a strong interest in grammar and language development skills, for both communication and expression. I also have an interest in developing critical thought through the reviewing of literature.

As a qualified teacher, I much prefer my students to explore answers with guidance and direction in an area where making mistakes is an opportunity to learn, rather than a stumbling block.
I like a mixed approach when providing content, where it can be visually (using worksheets or images), written, or verbally presented. Every person has a unique learning preference, and I try to cater to this as much as possible as well.
