About Brianna
I am a graduate English teacher in Perth. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2021 before securing a full time English teaching job in 2022. My time at Notre Dame also led to me completing a rural teaching practicum which allowed me to further develop my teaching especially in scaffolding and modelling of work.

I believe students learn best when work is made to be relevant to their own life. I therefore try and ensure lessons are made to be as exciting and interesting as possible in order to enhance understanding. In addition, I also like to scaffold lessons in such a way to encourage confidence in a student's own ability. This is often done so through first showing an example of what is expected, breaking it down and then eventually allowing the student to try for themselves. Students are then hopefully able to walk into test and exam environments with complete confidence in what is expected of them and also in their ability to respond appropriately.
