About Sarah
Hello I'm Sarah! I’m a qualified English teacher with experience across secondary schools and a degree in Primary Education. I have taught a wide range of students, from Year 6 pupils preparing for their KS2 SATs to KS3 and GCSE students studying English with both the Eduqas and AQA exam boards. I provide tutoring for both homeschooling students and those attending school, and I create personalised schemes of work that fit closely with each student’s school curriculum. I’ve also worked as an Assistant SENDCO and within council SEND services, giving me a strong background in supporting learners with a wide range of needs. As someone who is both dyslexic and dyspraxic, I’m passionate about making education accessible, building confidence, and showing students that challenges don’t have to hold them back. I became a tutor because I love helping young people grow—not just academically, but also in their skills, confidence, and outlook on learning.
