About Janine
My teaching focuses on developing students’ confidence and performance through Creative Writing, Reading Comprehension, and both Language and Literature exam techniques.
I am a dedicated and adaptable English teacher with over 20 years of experience with extensive classroom and online teaching expertise, specialising in 11+ Entrance Exams, SATs, GCSE, and iGCSE preparation.
I’ve also held key leadership roles including Line Manager, Designated Safeguarding Lead, and Strategy Lead for Reading and Writing, contributing to whole-school improvement and student engagement.

With a strong background in supporting learners with Autism and those with challenges to learning, I am highly skilled in tailoring lessons and strategies to meet those individuals' educational needs. For example, the length of lessons would be totally dependent on the student's choice and manageability, with in-between activities to break from the academic side of the lesson.
