About Maryam
Hello! I’m an English tutor based in Sydney with over 6 years of experience helping both adults and school students improve their communication skills. With a TESOL qualification and a background working with learners from diverse cultures, I understand the challenges of learning English as a second language — and how to make the process rewarding.
I am bilingual, so I can support learners who may feel more comfortable starting out with bilingual explanations. My focus is always on building confidence, whether you need English for study, work, or everyday communication.
Friendly and approachable, I aim to create a learning space where you feel supported, encouraged, and motivated to progress.

For adult learners, I focus on workplace and academic communication, while for school students I help strengthen grammar, vocabulary, and confidence in exams and assignments. Lessons can be conducted online or face-to-face in Sydney.
My goal is to help you not just learn English, but feel good about using it in your everyday life.
