About Aleisha

I’m Aleisha - a qualified, Selective School graduate and USYD Dalyell Scholar, awarded first in course for English Extension 2. With 6+ years of experience tutoring K–12 students across English, Maths, Humanities, and specialist test prep for OC, Selective and HSC exams, I help high-achieving learners reach their top academic goals.

My approach is strategic, empathetic, and results-driven: I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style and goals, focusing on deep understanding, exam technique, and confidence. I’ve helped students refine essay skills, boost ATAR scores, and prepare effectively for selective entry tests.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style - no two students are the same, and their lessons shouldn't be either. I begin with a brief assessment or chat to identify strengths, challenges, and key areas of focus. From there, I develop a personalised plan that combines clear instruction, guided practice, and active feedback.

I believe in building skills, not just getting through homework - whether that’s breaking down essay structure, mastering problem-solving techniques in Maths, or working through timed exam questions. For Selective School and HSC preparation, I incorporate real past papers, proven strategies, and targeted practice based on syllabus outcomes.

Each session is structured but flexible, combining:
- A check-in and review of previous work
- Targeted instruction with worked examples
- Practice and feedback (verbal + written)
- Tips for independent study and improvement

I also provide optional take-home resources, mock tests, and feedback between sessions for students who want extra support. My goal is to help students become confident, independent thinkers who know how to tackle any question with clarity and control.
