About Caroline
My name is Caroline Mawire, and I am a qualified and dedicated Foundation Phase educator with over 12 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Development and primary education. I have a genuine passion for helping young learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a supportive and structured learning environment.
I hold a Diploma in Education, a Certificate in Early Childhood Development, a Certificate in Growth Mindsets for Teachers and Learners, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Embury. These qualifications, combined with my classroom experience, have equipped me with strong teaching, assessment, and learner-support skills.
I am patient, caring, and highly organized, with a strong belief in positive communication and collaboration with parents. I strive to build learners’ confidence, independence, and love for learning while helping them reach their full potential.

My approach to private tutoring is learner-centred, structured, and nurturing, with a strong focus on helping children build confidence while developing essential academic skills. With over 12 years of experience in Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase teaching, I understand that every child learns differently. I adapt my teaching strategies to suit each learner’s pace, ability, and learning style.
What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to combine sound educational theory with practical classroom experience. I focus not only on academic progress, but also on social, emotional, and confidence development, creating a safe and encouraging environment where learners feel motivated to try, learn, and grow. I also incorporate growth mindset principles, helping learners develop resilience, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning.
