About Benjamin
I am a qualified teacher, Durham University graduate, and former England international athlete with a deep passion for teaching French. Drawing on over 13 years’ experience and 12,000+ lessons taught, I offer expert, bespoke French tuition across Primary, KS3, GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate university level. I support students across all major UK exam boards, IB and DELF, and I am equally comfortable guiding complete beginners through their first steps in French or refining the skills of advanced learners up to C1 level, including students sitting A-Levels, IB, or DELF examinations. I have taught French at a leading English boarding school and one of the elite Swiss academies. I see tutoring as a craft: thoughtful, precise, and human. As an artisan tutor, I focus on clarity, confidence, and enjoyment, helping students master the language while feeling the motivation, satisfaction and joy in learning French.
