About Catherine
Hello! My name is Catherine, and I am a native English speaker who speaks both French and Spanish. I am also a qualified secondary school teacher of both those languages! In 2018, I graduated from Exeter University with a 2:1 BA French and Spanish degree, having enjoyed 4 years of study which included a year working as an English Language Teacher at a school in Madrid. I then spent two years working as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school in London where I loved having the opportunity to work alongside young children. I am now a qualified French and Spanish teacher, having completed my Secondary PGCE in Modern Languages with St Mary's University in Twickenham, London. I have been teaching in London secondary schools since September 2021. I teach up to GCSE in both languages, and have been tutoring online since March 2021. I am a positive, supportive, patient and energetic teacher who completely understands the trials of learning a Modern Foreign Language from scratch. Please do get in touch - I would love to help!

Perfect! Catherine is an excellent tutor. My daughter struggled with French after not connecting with her school teacher. Although it's only been a month, I've already seen an improvement thanks to Catherine. Her love of the French language is starting to rub off!
