About Bex
I have recently stepped away from teaching in the classroom to work more flexibly and to focus on tutoring. I am a friendly and personable tutor who will work around my students’ needs and requirements. I have experience teaching a range of ages, from Primary children to adults and teach to improve exam results, conversation practice, grammar and fluency. I have taught complete beginners, up to those looking to complete a degree or move to France.

I am a highly qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status, and experience as a Head of Department in UK schools, teaching both grammar and non-selective classes. I have also worked with exam boards to mark speaking exams, moderating and improving outcomes. I have taught full classes and tutored individual students to improve their grades.
