About Ellie
I am a qualified secondary school languages teacher and as such have an excellent understanding of pedagogy and I am acutely aware of the importance of a warm, supportive approach in helping students build their confidence with languages and excel. I have over two years' experience teaching English in Spain to adults and children, including exam preparation and conversation classes. I have taught students with a range of levels, from preschool to C2 and have successfully prepared students for exams including Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL.
I am passionate about language learning and communication, and I ensure lessons are tailored to the learner and that they are an active participant in their learning.

I am committed to improving comprehension and expression in English with dynamic, engaging classes focused on the needs and level of the student. Learners will benefit from a personalised approach and support for any exams they wish to sit, but also from a relaxed, supportive environment to build their confidence speaking English. I discuss the course of action with the student, ensuring they're involved at every stage, and give engaging, functional lessons. I will identify which skills to work on and support comprehension, expression and understanding of grammar, while understanding the importance of a warm and supportive environment where communication is recognised as the ultimate goal.
