About Onalenna
My name is Onalenna. But everyone who gets to know me calls me Ona. Skilled, forward thinking and vibrant young woman who is a bundle of creativity in media practices. I am a Qualified media practitioner. I have experience working as a radio host and content producer for Radio & Television. I feel my hospitable interpersonal skills have allowed me to balance my abilities in the media world through my passion for the craft. Self-driven and hardworking character traits were molded into me at a very young age as I was brought up as an only child by my mother in a small village in the North West called Dikebu. Growing up in the North West Province of South Africa, I attended Primary and Secondary education at Sol Plaatje in Mafikeng. Tertiary education, I pursued a BA certificate in Humanities, majoring in Political Science at the University of Johannesburg, before rerouting my academic path to pursue media studies at Boston Media House where I Graduated and majored in Radio. The Radio industry is a calling that I decided to answer. The radio career path complemented my informative and well-spoken nature. My mother is a teacher and she absolutely loves it. Growing up around her and seeing how she helps kids has made me have a interest in tutoring. Especially primary school kids.

Because I am a creative we will have a lot of fun. I sing a lot so maybe during our breaks we can sing or play some games. I am very patient with kids. I prefer primary level learners. Book me and let’s make English fun.
