About Neha
I’m Neha, a medical student currently based between Preston and Manchester. I’ve always enjoyed teaching and breaking down complex ideas into something more straightforward and easier to understand. I offer GCSE Maths and Science tuition, primarily online, but I’m occasionally available for in-person lessons in Preston or Manchester. As someone who’s been through the pressure of exams and knows how challenging these subjects can feel, I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging way. Many of my previous students have seen significant improvements in their grades and confidence after my tutoring.

As a qualified medical student, I take a friendly and flexible approach to tutoring. I focus on breaking down complex topics in maths and science into simpler, more manageable steps, encouraging students to build confidence through practice and understanding rather than memorisation. I adapt each session to suit the individual student’s needs, using active recall techniques, real-life examples, and past paper practice where appropriate. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and can be tailored to support students preparing for GCSE exams or those needing extra help to keep up in class. I have experience mentoring younger students through school programmes and understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting to different learning styles. These sessions are ideal for secondary school students (ages 11–16) studying GCSE Maths or Science.
