About Maria
Tutoring Approach: I teach students by classical traditional methods to set solid foundations from the beginning and help you become independently capable of playing your instrument. During lessons you will learn and develop: • correct posture, • left and right hand technique, • listening skills and phrasing, • rhythmic playing, • sight-reading and notation, • music theory • sound technique and musicianship. Playing a music instrument is much more than just playing the notes. Learn to play musical instrument and you will be able to express yourself without words. Apart from learning the basic techniques and key musical concepts, my lessons will provide students with an opportunity to develop listening skills, phrasing and encourage musicianship at the highest level. All lessons are tailored individually and based upon student’s needs and objectives. Students who want to receive a formal recognition, I prepare for ABRSM exams with 100perc. Pass rate and my current students receiving Merit or Distinction. *I have an Enhanced CRB Certificate and completed a Child Protection and Safeguarding Course. Qualifications: Master (2013) University of West London in Music Management and Artist Development Bachelor (2012) University of Indianapolis in Music Performance
