About Beth

I am a qualified music teacher and am passionate about my subject. I know with my energy and enthusiasm you will be excited about learning music and inspired to come back for more lessons. As well as teaching ages 4-18 I am a qualified music examiner for Eduqas Music and BTEC Music and Performing Arts. Being an examiner allows me to know what you need to get qualifications in music. So whether it be learning for fun because you want to learn a new instrument (piano, clarinet or saxophone) or because you want to know more about the rudiments and theory of music and gain a qualification - I can help you to reach these goals!

About the lesson

My aim as a tutor is to inspire you to learn new things with a firm but fair approach. I hope to share my passion for music and make you excited about your own potential! I am open to teaching ages 3-18. In my teaching career I have worked in both primary schools and nurseries so feel confident delivering lessons to a variety of ages. My lessons will be adaptable based on your personal needs and I can tailor lessons to be 15 mins or one hour - or shorter or longer based on your schedule and needs. My teaching is based on over 8 years of experience with 3 as a head of department. All lessons will be planned based on ABRSM theory and the national curriculum for music with a musical futures style approach. I am fully adaptable and can work to meet your learning style.
