Qualified Native German & Native English Private German Tutor with 27 years professional experience and 100% first time exam pass record.

Alex taught me private German lessons to help me reach B2/C1 fluency for my professional advancement. Alex is an exceptionally structured, highly intelligent, and effective native German and native English language tutor. He possesses the rare ability to demystify complex German grammar without ever making it feel overwhelming. He even showed me in under fifteen minutes how to get German adjectival endings 100% correct every time without hesitation.
Working through his proprietary ‘Learning German Speed Method’ completely transformed how I understand German sentence structures. Within just a few weeks, concepts I had struggled with for months suddenly clicked into place. What separates Alex from other tutors is his dedicated daily homework feedback. His way of teaching is also highly enjoyable, as he is able to explain everything in simple, easy-to-understand terms on the spur of the moment without any advance preparation, which is always extraordinarily useful. He regularly reviews submitted work outside of official lesson times, which means our live sessions are entirely dedicated to speaking, rapid progress, and mastering new concepts.
If you are looking for fast, structured advancement with a native German tutor who brings top academic credentials (King’s College London and UCL Institute of Education) alongside decades of practical experience, Alex is unbeatable. He is worth every penny.
