I have been with Gerard for about 7 years - both in person with a group and latterly online.
His teaching is always interesting and diverse. We cover many topics, and learn a lot about the authentic French way of life. Sometimes we have a subject to follow, other times we have had a book to read and discuss over the weeks. Always varied - a very nice tutor.

I've been attending weekly group classes with Gérard both in-person and online for many years now. I clearly enjoy my lessons! He's patient, willing to correct if I make errors (but without embarassment), is creative with his teaching (prepares ideas, pre-work and follow-up), and is sensitive enough to the people in the class to understand the level and speed the class needs at the time. I continue to feel increasingly confident in my understanding and fluency. I would certainly recommend him if you prefer learning by conversation, rather than by a more formal focus on grammar and rote.
