I am a vibrant tutor highly experienced in teaching online who provides tutoring for learners of all ages, levels, needs or goals, as well as organize lessons and courses for groups!

Are you ready? I see you behind the screen! Hasta pronto...

About me:

I obtained the degree in Primary School Education from the University of Valencia (Spain) and I spent three years working in a public Spanish school. During this time I was as well imparting particular lessons and providing support students who struggled in any subject, then I had my first contact with foreigners who needed improve their Spanish. Since then, it was born my passion for teaching Spanish and from the moment I arrived in London I was developing my career as a Spanish teacher. I started working as a Spanish teacher volunteer, obtained my Qualified Teacher Status and began working as a Spanish teacher in a highly rewarded Academy of London, were I have been working four academic years. Currently, I am in Spain working as a Spanish teacher in a International School and combine this with supporting Spanish learners online; it is really rewarding for me!

When you love what you do, you radiate good feelings, and people can feel this too! If you know how to engage your learners and how to maximize their potential, just after a few lessons they will feel the difference and the outcomes will feed their motivation to continue...

From my experience I can say that in order to be able to teach genuine Spanish, it is essential not only to be native and possess a deep knowledge of Spanish language and culture, but also to have the experience and cognizance to provide adequate learning experiences, responding to the needs of learners, whatever their characteristics.

I consider myself a responsable, friendly and communicative person and always strive to help the people who are in need. I chose this career because teaching is one of the best ways to help people and I have found my vocation in teaching Spanish.

As a teacher it is vital for me to engage and motivate learners, understand how they progress and believe in their learning potential. I always show enthusiasm, empathy, integrity and… something essential.... if it was not fun, it was not a good lesson!

Perfect! Supportive and Patient
Jose has been teaching me Spanish for just over a year, and he is now helping me prepare to study Spanish at university.

I tried a few tutors before Jose, and I wasn't able to find someone with patience and understood my learning style. From day one, Jose was very supportive, encouraging and made every lesson fun and interesting. He also sets me homework and answers my questions outside of the lessons.

I would highly reccomend Jose to anyone looking to start their Spanish language journey!
Subject : Spanish
Outcome : I have built more fluency in Spanish and now I am ready to study at University.

Perfect! Great Tutor
I feel very comfortable learning from Jose. Especially when practising how to pronounce words and sentences clearly and correctly. He listens and gives feed back, he works at your pace and its almost effortless they way he is able to speak and translate in English if he notices a struggle to understand and that is only after hes given you the opportunity to translate first. I feel motivated after each lesson and always ready for the next one!
Subject : Spanish
Outcome : I am still learning and cant wait to get better!

Jose is an excellent and skilled tutor. My son went from a C grade, to an A* in a matter on months. He's reliable, always happy and ready to help. His atmosphere in lessons is very beneficial and friendly, and he can conducts his lessons in Spanish if need be, which further helped Fadi's learning and understanding. He's very organised, and keeps tabs on my sons progress, to make sure he is learning. I've even started my other son with him, and I know he's in good hands! All in all I do recommend him as a tutor who will make a positive change to a students learning.

Jose was a great help to me. He took me back to basics and was able to clearly explain things I couldn’t understand before. He has a lot of patience and reassured me of my ability, giving me tips on how to work effectively. He was able to condense a lot of content into just a couple of sessions.
Overall, I would highly recommend Jose, he really boosted my confidence and made me realise that Spanish is not so complica te.

As part of this volunteering, Jose attended an intensive one-day course and provided weekly tutorials and support to Year 7 and 8 students at Pimlico Academy, Lupus Street, London, SW1V 3AT.

The school has relayed how well he built a rapport with his students. Incredibly, Jose gave far beyond the 10 hours of volunteering time required and attended the school regularly since April 2016.

It has been a pleasure having him on the program, he has been an incredibly valuable member of our volunteering body and we wish him every success in the future.
