About Josh
About Me
I am a fully-qualified primary school Teacher from Australia currently living and Teaching as a supply Tecaher in Cardiff and looking to help students with Maths and English work aswell as any other special requirements. I take an interest in Sport including basketball, cricket, rugby, football and golf. I am an enthusiastic and fun teacher who makes the lessons creative and fun to get the most out of the kids.
My Experience
Bachelor of primary Education Degree
Currently supply Teaching in Cardiff.
2 years as a classroom/sports teacher in primary schools.
4 years in University placement.
2 years tutoring experience in Australia.
Building positive relationships is something that I enjoy whilst creating a safe, engaging & challenging learning environment. I put my full-focus on the students’ wellbeing and personal & academic growth first and that is what motivates me every day.
My Qualifications
Year 12 completion
Bachelor of Primary Education - Deakin University
First Aid Trained
From 2015 - 2018 I completed 32 units on primary education and spent 80 days in the classroom as well as 40 days in full control of the class. I majored in the health and physical education sector.
Graduating officially in February, 2019.

I aim to engage the learner to create engaging and sophisticated writing using a wide Vocabulary as well a number of writing techniques to engage the intended reader such as Onomatopeias', Personification, Similies', Alliteration, Metaphors' & repetition in writing. Using examples as well as real life situations and customizing the topics to the learners' interests.
