About Justine
I’m a qualified primary school teacher with nine years of K-6 experience across Sydney, the UK, and Qatar, and a Master's in Education from the University of Cumbria. Literacy is my specialist area. In my most recent role I redesigned the reading framework for a K-2 cohort and reduced at-risk readers by 67% in four months. What I love about tutoring is the chance to really see a child, work out what they need, and help them feel capable again. That’s the part of teaching I’ve always found most rewarding.

Every child starts with a short assessment so I can see exactly where the gaps are, then I build a plan that targets those gaps rather than just helping with this week’s homework. Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes, warm but focused, and I send parents a quick note afterwards so you always know what we worked on and what’s improving. Available in-person around Balmain or online.
