About Alba
I'm Alba, a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and over 11 years of classroom experience. Teaching has always been a passion of mine because I love seeing children grow in confidence and realise what they are capable of achieving.
Throughout my career I have taught children across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a variety of London primary schools. I pride myself on building positive relationships with children and creating a calm, supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and enjoying the learning process.
I am patient, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child reach their full potential, whether they need extra support, are preparing for assessments or simply want to build confidence in the classroom. I look forward to working with both children and parents to help every learner succeed.

Hello! My name is Alba and I am a qualified primary school teacher with QTS and over 11 years of experience teaching children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. I offer personalised one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, Reading, Writing and Phonics, both online and in person across North West London.
Every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, interests and learning style. My aim is not only to improve academic attainment but also to build confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to catch up, prepare for SATs or simply gain confidence in the classroom, I will create engaging lessons that help them reach their full potential.
I have experience teaching children with a wide range of abilities, including those with SEND and English as an Additional Language (EAL), and I believe in creating a calm, encouraging and positive learning environment where every child feels capable of succeeding. Regular feedback is provided so parents can clearly see their child's progress.
