About Grace
I’m a fully qualified primary teacher with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS, and teaching isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I bring creativity and enthusiasm into every lesson, making learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. Having worked across all primary year groups as a supply teacher and completed long-term placements in EYFS and Year 2, I understand how every child learns differently. I take great care to create a welcoming and patient space where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to try their best. My goal is to help every student build confidence and enjoy learning, knowing they have someone who believes in them every step of the way. I’m committed to supporting your child’s unique journey with kindness, creativity, and professionalism.

My tutoring style is friendly, patient, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I aim to make learning enjoyable and confidence-boosting by using a mix of clear explanations, interactive activities, and practical strategies. For younger children, I keep things fun and hands-on, especially for phonics and maths. For older pupils, I include more discussion, problem-solving, and revision techniques to support independent learning. I also adapt my teaching to support SEND children through visual learning and practical activities. Lessons are usually 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, attention span, and the focus of the session. I always check in with families to make sure the length and pace feel right. I have a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with QTS, and I currently work as a supply teacher across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. I’ve taught in many different classrooms and have completed long-term teaching in both Year 2 and EYFS. I have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and how to adapt it for different learning styles. My lessons are suitable for children aged 4 to 11, covering all areas of the primary curriculum including phonics, English, reading, writing, maths, and SATs preparation.
