About Alicia
Hi, I’m a qualified primary teacher with experience working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, as well as supporting children with additional needs such as autism and ADHD.
I became a teacher because I’ve always wanted to help children feel confident in their learning and to make school a positive experience for every child. I know that not every child learns in the same way, so I focus on finding the right approach for each individual learner and helping them feel understood and supported.
I offer support across all primary subjects, especially English, maths, phonics and reading. My lessons are calm, friendly and structured, with a focus on building confidence step by step so children don’t feel overwhelmed.
Parents and students can expect a patient, approachable and reliable tutor who genuinely cares about helping learners make progress and feel good about themselves and their learning.

My lessons are supportive, engaging and tailored to each child’s individual learning needs. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger children or pupils with additional needs. I aim to build confidence while making learning enjoyable and accessible for all learners. I provide support across all primary subjects, including phonics, reading, English and maths, and I have experience supporting children with SEND needs such as autism and ADHD. I use adaptive teaching strategies, visual resources and step-by-step guidance to help children feel comfortable, motivated and successful in their learning.
