About Nadia

I am a qualified Science Teacher with a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy Science. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE and KS3 level and have experience working with students with a range of abilities, needs and levels of confidence.

I believe that every student can make progress when they are given the right support and taught in a way that works for them. My lessons are supportive, encouraging and tailored to each individual student. I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through mistakes and developing confidence in their own abilities.

Whether you are looking to improve your understanding of a particular topic, catch up on areas you have found difficult, prepare for GCSE examinations or work towards achieving a higher grade, I will work with you to identify your goals and build lessons around them.

As a qualified teacher, I understand the demands of the GCSE Science curriculum and the importance of developing both subject knowledge and exam technique. I primarily teach the AQA specification but can also support students studying other exam boards.

All lessons are delivered online, making tuition flexible and accessible from home. I am committed to providing well-prepared, engaging lessons and helping every student make meaningful progress towards their goals.

I am a qualified Science Teacher offering online GCSE Science tuition in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I primarily teach the AQA specification, but I am also happy to support students following other exam boards.

My approach is centred around making Science clear, accessible and engaging. I adapt each lesson to the individual student's needs, whether they are looking to build confidence with challenging topics, strengthen their understanding of key scientific concepts, improve their exam technique or work towards a particular grade.

Lessons are interactive and student-focused rather than simply following a textbook. I use questioning, worked examples, explanations, diagrams, retrieval practice and exam-style questions to help students develop both their knowledge and their ability to apply it. I also encourage students to explain their thinking so that I can identify and address any gaps or misconceptions.

I typically offer 60-minute online lessons, although this can be adapted depending on the student's age, concentration and individual needs.

As a qualified Science Teacher, I have trained in classroom teaching and lesson planning and have experience supporting students with different abilities and learning needs. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while they learn.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE students studying Combined or Separate/Triple Science, including students preparing for AQA examinations and those following other exam boards.

Details

The first lesson is free and I will create a diagnostic test based on your exam board. Based off these results I will plan lessons tailored to your strengths, weaknesses and preferences should you wish to go forward with me as your tutor. 
Each lesson will include explanations, modelling (where applicable) guided practice and an opportunity for individual practice and feedback accordingly.
