About Marfey
I am a qualified English teacher with QTS and a PGCE, with several years of experience working with children and young people in both teaching and tutoring settings.
I am passionate about helping students become more confident, independent learners. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take a patient and supportive approach, adapting my lessons to suit each student’s individual ability, learning style and goals.
I have experience teaching and supporting students from KS1 to KS4, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Whether a student needs help with English, homework, revision, exam preparation or simply wants to build their confidence, I aim to create a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
My online lessons are professional, structured and engaging, with a strong focus on helping each student reach their full potential.

My tutoring approach is supportive, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I adapt my teaching style depending on their age, ability and areas for improvement. I use clear explanations, worked examples, questioning and regular practice to build both understanding and confidence. I can also support students with homework, revision and exam preparation.
Lessons are typically one hour long and are delivered online. Each lesson focuses on clear learning goals, with opportunities to practise skills and address any misconceptions.
