About Genevieve
Hi! My name is Genevieve,
I have recently moved to Galway from Australia.
In Australia I grew up in a small rural town before moving to Brisbane to study. I am enjoying getting to know the local community and Irish culture.
I have a professional background as a Speech-Language Pathologist, along with experience in before- and after-school care and as a disability support worker. Through these roles, I’ve developed a strong ability to support individuals of all ages and abilities in a way that is patient, practical, and engaging.
I’m passionate about building genuine connections and creating a positive, supportive environment where people feel comfortable to learn and grow.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing piano and guitar, reading, going for runs, and spending time with animals!

I am a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist with over six years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across clinical, educational, and disability settings.
I specialise in language, communication, and literacy development, including reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, and pronunciation. I tailor my approach to suit each learner’s strengths, goals, and learning style.
My teaching style is warm, supportive, and highly individualised. I focus on building confidence while providing a clear, structured pathway towards meaningful progress. Sessions are purposeful, engaging, and aligned with each learner’s goals.
I work with learners of all ages and aim to create a positive, motivating environment where individuals feel supported to achieve their full potential.
