About Catherine
My interest in teaching comes from helping students discover the logic behind scientific concepts. I enjoy creating an encouraging environment where learners can ask questions, explore ideas, and improve continuously.
I have a Master's Degree and 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Throughout my career, I have helped learners strengthen their academic skills and develop better approaches to studying science.
Seeing students become more curious and confident in chemistry is the reason I continue to enjoy teaching.

My chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the relationship between chemical structures, reactions, and real-world applications. I focus on developing scientific thinking through exploration, discussion, and practical examples.
Students will study atomic structure, periodic properties, molecular bonding, organic chemistry, inorganic reactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, chemical kinetics, equilibrium, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and laboratory methods. Lessons include concept exploration, analytical questions, revision exercises, and exam-focused preparation.
I adapt teaching methods based on student goals and learning pace. The aim is to help learners gain deeper subject understanding and confidently apply chemistry principles.
