About Chrystal
I have been a qualified teacher for 14 years since finishing my conjoint Teaching and Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 from The University of Waikato. I have taught all my qualified subjects, senior History and French, as well as junior social studies and French, in IB dual pathway private and public schools in New Zealand. In 2012 I gained a certificate in TESOL through the University of Toronto in order to teach overseas. I have since taught English in South Korea, Thailand and France. For the last 6 years I have taught full time French and History in a high school but in 2024 I will be studying myself.

My students enjoy my dynamic lessons because I am to involve the learners interest and sense of humour. We learn best when we are interacting, engaged and feel like we are making progress. It depends on the subject but I find there is cross over between subject areas. I can adapt lessons to a length and pace that suits the client. I have been a teacher for 14 years here in New Zealand and abroad. I have mostly taught teens but have experience teaching kids as young as kindergarten and adults as old as 40 learning English.
