About Reginald
I am a qualified teacher with QTLS status. I also hold the DTLLS, BA Hons. in Business, GCSE's including Maths and English and more than 20 years teacher and 'support staff' experience.
I have taught KS2 & KS3 Maths, GCSE & Extended Diploma in Business. Beginners& intermediate practical guitar and piano lessons with a Reggae, Calypso, Pop music emphasis. I have taught students on a 1-2-1 basis or within small groups. I have practical accounting experience, having previously worked at accounting practices and I was a 'music band manager'.

I tend to apply a bit of didactic and hand-on approach. I engage my students in: tutor & student led sessions; using the 'traffic light' and 'sandwich approach' systems to maintain classroom rapport. I am highly pro-active, a very dynamic and eclectic teacher who is very adaptive under pressure. Ground rules emphasis is fundamental to my lessons. I am result driven based on students starting-points. Depending on what I am teaching, I use and apply several short-cut approaches and/or acceptable alternatives. I tend to build up my teaching sessions empirically but catering primarily for the learners needs and course objectives.

Multiple lessons/sessions attract 50% prepayment. Single lesson/session is - paid on demand. Cancellations in less than 48 hours attract full payment. Lessons maybe able to be re-scheduled by negotiation with the tutor/student. Any prepayment is fully refundable should the teacher fail to honour deadlines.
