About Florence
Hi and thanks for visiting my page. I am passionate about teaching and believe that science is the best thing that happened to our world. Educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, a trained teacher (QTS) and researcher in the area of health for many years. I truly believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and understand science; it might mean there is a need to build a bridge between where a student is and where they need to be. This can be achieved by getting to know each student and adapting the content to their learning styles. In my many years of teaching, it has been a pleasure to see students who think they belong in the lower set move to a higher one. It will be my pleasure to help you build the unique bridge that will help you make a link between where you are and where you want to be in your understanding of science.

A Science Teacher based in Norwich, Norfolk. I teach all sciences at Key Stage 3 level and Biology at GCSE (AQA, OCR & Edexcel). I am passionate about teaching and flexible in my approach. As a trained teacher for over 15 years, I use a variety of teaching techniques to cater for different learning styles and to make learning more enjoyable and easier to grasp; my approach is tailored to each student individually. I use diagrams, interactive quizzes, audio and video clips as well as past examination papers, amongst many other methods.
