About Sinead
Hello! I’m Sinead, a fully qualified primary teacher from Scotland specializing in English and literacy. I help primary-aged pupils build strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills while boosting their confidence and enjoyment in learning.
My lessons are structured, engaging, and supportive. We start with a fun recap game to check prior learning, move through tailored activities with clear guidance, and finish with a plenary to review key points and celebrate progress.
With my professional teaching experience and patient, approachable style, I adapt lessons to suit each learner’s needs, making sure every student feels capable, motivated, and supported.

Each lesson begins with a short recap game to engage the learner and assess retention from previous sessions. This is followed by clear, focused teaching using age-appropriate examples, guided practice, and independent activities tailored to the learner’s needs. Each session concludes with a plenary, where we review key learning, address any misconceptions, and celebrate progress to reinforce understanding and confidence.
