About Clare
I qualified as a secondary school teacher (11-18 years) in 1997 when I graduated from the Institute of Education. In the years that followed I taught in a number of diverse, inner city London schools and FE colleges. I spent 2 years teaching in Mexico City and subsequently travelled extensively in Latin America where I was immersed in Hispanic culture and learnt to speak Spanish fluently. I am a frequent visitor to Spain and am a lover of all things Spanish.

The first lesson (which is free) is a consultation during which we will have an informal chat both in Spanish and English. If you’re in agreement I will also ask you to read a short passage in Spanish and answer some questions relating to it. This helps me to assess your level and gives you a chance to tell me about any learning needs you may have as well as areas that you’d like to work on in subsequent sessions. Following the session I will then design a bespoke scheme of work catering to your individual needs.
