About Arishna

Hi there! My name is Arishna, I was born and currently reside in Durban, South Africa. I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Education (Intermediate and senior phase) I have experience with children ages 8-13 and adults, however I am great with kids. I want to help one learn new things and reach their full potential with this beautiful English language. I specialize in educational themes and the English and Afrikaans languages. Creativity and social skills are a few of my strengths. I easily adapt to new environments and am a peoples person, therefore teaching online is a great platform for me to share my skills with others. I am well versed with the English language and teaching with innovative techniques makes learning with me so much fun. what makes me different, is that I am bold, efficient and consistent. Engaging well with people from diverse backgrounds, I am patient and kind and and teacher Ari loves to engage in conversation, use imagery, discussion and sharing stories as a way of creating a warm environment to help my students to feel comfortable. My motto is if at first you dont succeed, you try and try again! teaching and sharing my knowledge with others is my passion and the ultimate goal is to have happy, fulfilled students. I am ever willing to help with test prep, comprehension and other aspects of learning English. I look forward to hearing from you!
