About Nirav
Hello! My name is Nirav Patwari, and I’m an experienced and passionate tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience in Mathematics, English, Science, and Economics. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Education (MA Education) at the University of Birmingham, where I continue to deepen my understanding of how students learn best. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the City University of Hong Kong and am TEFL-certified, giving me both strong subject knowledge and a global perspective on teaching and learning. Teaching, for me, is not just a career — it’s a calling. I believe every student has unique potential, and my role as a tutor is to help them discover it. My classes are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s goals, ensuring they gain both academic confidence and genuine interest in the subject. I’ve worked with students aged 6 to 18, guiding them through school curricula, exam preparation, and skill development. With over 10 years of experience teaching Maths, English, Science, and Economics, I focus on creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that adapts to each student’s unique needs and pace. My approach blends concept clarity, real-life application, and interactive practice, helping students not only score higher but also build lasting understanding and confidence. I use a mix of visual learning, guided problem-solving, and discussion-based techniques to make complex topics easier to grasp. Each lesson includes a short recap of previous material, a structured explanation of new concepts, followed by practice questions or activities to ensure complete understanding. My lessons typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s level and attention span. For younger learners, I include short breaks and creative tasks to keep engagement high, while for older students I use analytical exercises and past paper practice to prepare for exams. I am a TEFL-certified educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from City University of Hong Kong, and I have designed and delivered over 100+ curriculum plans for students aged 6 to 18 across international and local schools.
