I am a dedicated tutor with a passion for guiding students to academic and personal success. With a background in History, Sociology, English, and Psychology, I bring a tailored approach to teaching, ensuring every student feels supported and confident in their learning journey. As a father to an Asperger son, I deeply understand the challenges students face and have developed mentoring techniques to improve motivation and resilience. Professional Tutor and Mentor
I specialize in teaching History, Sociology/Psychology, English Literature, and English Language across secondary, diploma, and university levels. My teaching approach is tailored to individual learning needs, with a strong focus on building academic skills and confidence.
In addition to my academic expertise, I have extensive experience mentoring teens and young adults, including those with Asperger's, to improve motivation and overcome challenges related to self-esteem, stress, and focus. This holistic approach ensures that students not only excel academically but also develop the resilience and confidence needed for long-term success.
• Qualifications: BA (NUS), MSc Psychology (LMU).
• Additional Training: Certified in advanced modalities to transform stress and improve emotional wellbeing.
• Background: Alumni of Raffles Institution. Father to an Asperger son.
My lessons are typically 1.5 hours long, conducted once a week, and are personalized to meet the unique needs of each student. Whether your child is preparing for exams, struggling with certain subjects, or facing challenges like low motivation or inadequacy, I am here to provide both academic and personal growth support.
