About Ellie
Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m a qualified Veterinary Surgeon, with both industry and teaching experience. I’m a fun, creative tutor who loves making tricky topics easier to understand. I’ll bring plenty of enthusiasm and real-life examples.
I have a strong academic background with 10 A*s at GCSE, A*A*B at A level and a Veterinary Science degree with distinction from University of Bristol.
My particular subject interests are anatomy, physiology and immunology. Happy to chat and figure out what works for you!

I aim to make lessons engaging, relaxed and tailored to each individual student. I adapt my teaching style, pace and resources to suit each learner’s needs, whether they learn best through visual explanations, discussion, quizzes, practical examples or working through exam questions.
I use clear explanations, real-life examples, interactive quizzes and exam-style questions to help students genuinely understand and apply concepts, rather than simply memorise them.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, delivered online, with each session planned around the student’s individual goals and areas for development.
I am a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with 5 years of industry experience and teaching experience from Level 2 through to Level 5.
I tutor GCSE and A Level Biology, supporting students of all abilities to build confidence, strengthen their understanding and develop effective exam technique.
