About Delilah
With 14+ years of experience in teaching violin, I have helped around 300 students learn and grow in music, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching approach is student-focused, practical, and easy to follow. I believe that learning violin should be enjoyable while also building strong technical skills.
I focus on fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, and I explain each concept in a simple and clear way. I also include exercises and songs that match the student’s level to keep them engaged.
One of my key achievements is helping students improve steadily and perform with confidence. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn violin.

My violin teaching approach emphasizes communication, flexibility, and practical application of skills. I carefully observe each student’s learning style and adapt lessons to match their pace, goals, and interests.
I focus on building strong fundamentals, including posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone production, and phrasing, while also encouraging creativity and expressive playing. I use real-life examples such as performing favorite songs, practicing for recitals, and connecting music to emotions to make learning meaningful.
In addition to violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to help students develop comprehensive musicianship. My aim is to create a supportive, structured, and motivating environment where students build confidence, improve steadily, and foster a lifelong love for music.
