About Tyler

I'm a doctoral student in Geography at Temple University with a Master's in Public Health from Drexel. My research and professional work involve designing studies, collecting and analyzing quantitative data, and interpreting results for academic and community audiences.

I've taught courses in spatial statistics, epidemiology, and public health research methods. I've also published peer-reviewed research and technical reports that translate complex quantitative findings into clear, actionable insights. I regularly work with students on survey design, sampling methods, data cleaning, and statistical modeling.

I tutor online via Zoom with screen sharing and in-person in Philadelphia. My schedule is flexible this summer while I work on my dissertation proposal.

About the lesson

I help students navigate the entire quantitative research process. Whether it's formulating a research question, choosing the right methods, or analyzing data and presenting results. I can help with things like designing a survey, struggling with sampling techniques, or trying to make sense of regression output.

My approach is applied and practical. I show you how to actually do the analysis using R, Excel, or SPSS. I meet you where you are and break down complex concepts into manageable steps. If you're working on a thesis, dissertation, or research project, I can be your thought partner to keep you moving forward.

Tyler my GOAT is the only reason I was able to pass my Spatial Statistics class. Unlike the professor, Tyler knew we had never used the R programing language before and had little experience with stats, so he met us where we were at. He helped me with all of my labs and I wouldn't have been able to complete them without his help. He also helped me with my GIS class on the rare occasion I hit a roadblock. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone learning the R programming language, doing statistical analysis or learning GIS
