About Cecily
Hi! My name is Cecily, and I am a K–5 reading interventionist with a passion for helping students grow into confident readers. I work with elementary students every day at a variety of reading levels, supporting skills such as phonics, fluency, comprehension, sight words, and overall reading confidence. I use UFLI-informed strategies and individualized support to help students meet their goals in a way that feels encouraging and achievable.
I believe every child learns differently, and my goal is to create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and celebrating progress. Whether your child needs extra support, confidence-building, summer reading practice, or help strengthening foundational skills, I am excited to help them succeed!
Outside of education, I also coach high school cheerleading, which has strengthened my ability to motivate, encourage, and build confidence in young people. I love helping students feel proud of themselves and excited about learning.

If your child struggles with reading, phonics, fluency, or confidence, you are not alone — and growth is possible! As a K–5 reading interventionist, I work with students daily to strengthen literacy skills in a way that feels encouraging, structured, and personalized. I use UFLI-informed strategies to build strong foundational reading skills while making lessons engaging and supportive. I believe learning happens best when students feel successful, so I focus on building confidence, celebrating progress, and helping each child become a stronger, more independent reader.
